Youth Celebration Services Friday Jan 28, 7:15 PM
No Limits (No Limites) is the topic for the first local Youth Service this year. The speaker will be local brother Jacob Rodriguez. All are invited; Parents are encouraged to bring their youth, and Intermediates. There will be concurrent praying during the services by the parents. We expect great things by our Lord and Savior. . Teachings for Youth, Intermediates and Juniors: Jan 2011
Fasting is the topic for the Thursday night teachings for the groups. "Opening a door to a deeper, more intimate, more powerful relationship with God" Getting close to God is the way to go in 2011. See flyer
Kids Worship: Jan 2011
Remember, kids worship keeps getting better and better. The services are at 9:30am and 12:30pm every Sunday. This is where we provide a Christ centered environment for the children of our community. The program includes lots of fun, teaching, singing, video worship and testimonies. See flyer
Sunday Column Presentation: Jan 2011
We have again started the vision 2011 presentations every Sunday in January. All have been a great success, and we have no doubt that the pending to present (Celebrations) will not be an exception. Great Job by the Pastor, Ministers and Directors!
Thursday Night Conferences: Jan 2011
The conferences on Discovering the Spiritual Gifts and the Study of the Temperaments were very productive, these first two Thursdays in January. The two topics were completed in about three hours, and this included the conference on the biblical gifts, the personality test, explanation of results, and some very good educational videos. To our God be the honor and glory!
Coming for Thursdays - Strategy of Jesus Conferences: Jan 2011
Brother John Martinez will be giving us instructions and a demo on how to run home bible studies according to Strategy of Jesus. We are very Excited, we thinks that this is going to be a great and very beneficial presentations for the last two Thursday in January.
40 Days of Fasting A Great Blessing: Jan 2011
These initial weeks of fasting (Ayuno de Daniel) have been a magnificent blessing for many. Even the kitchen commissions have been cooking all ground /natural foods. We expect many big blessings from our God this year. Big thanks to Pastor Prado and Sister Patty for providing a good menu, which had made things a lot easier for everyone when cooking without meats.
Column Meetings and Events this already this month: Jan 2011
The column of Administration and Christian Education already had some column events. Christian Education had their teacher training, and Administration celebrated with a great dinner for the first meeting of the year, planning for 2011 and leader recognitions for those the carried on the work for 2010. It was a very fine event. Great food, lots of gifts, lots of good testimonies, everyone happy to serve our God.
Excellent New Year event: Dec 31, 2010
We had an excellent New Year event on December 31st at the local church. The celebration included the usual hot chocolate and sweet bread (pan dulce). Then we went to the city offices of East Palo Alto to pray for our city government and again, we were met by the Chief of Police.
Good planning meetings in December: 2010
We have a few very productive planning meetings in December 2010. With the help of God, we were able to almost (I'll say about 90%) complete the calendar for 2011. A Dios Sea La Honra Y La Gloria!
